Reviewing back muscle while paying attention to line quality and limiting Undo.
Failing Goals
One of my goal this year is to stop practicing drawing and switch to painting/composition study. I guess I have to delay that until next year
Another is to maintain this garden. My original vision for this garden is to write a lot of knowledges here but writing is so time consuming, I have to delay that until my drawing skill is better.
Weakness of Poster Commission
- my 3D drawing skill is still weak so I rely on my flat composition skill.
- My willpower dwindles as the commission approaches completion. The later steps suffer as a result (graphic design couldn't be polished more, some rendering is rushed etc, color grading sometimes have to be skipped)
- I have to extensively research the character so that I have many materials to work with. It takes a lot of time compared to character commission, but at least it's fun.
- I'm not too sure, but my poster artwork don't really do well on Twitter, I think it's because the content is too customized for my client and it can be hard to understand and communicate. Beauty in rendering and composition should be the easiest for me to communicate but I guess my skill and uniqueness is not there yet. I have plans to improve my skills in every domains but I'm stuck with drawing and sketching for now

- Sense of fashion, art direction skill and the ability to make an actual product is what I love about Z-Z
