Things isn't going too well now, at least in terms of career. One of my goals this year is to have more stable income from my artwork.
This year I will just create page as the concept comes up and not put them in the Seeds Storage anymore, and will process notes from it gradually.
I just updated to Windows 11 and my emoji panel is not working anymore 😭 From now, I won't be using the sapling icon for new notes anymore.

• 💸 Commission:
  • drawing a non-poster commission feels so comfortable
  • I really need more personal art without any graphic design to improve and showcase my ability
• 🎨 Art:
  • I have a lot of unfinished sketches. My current goal is to complete them, just to improve my inking skill, my finishing skill and to have more art to upload.

  • ▲ Art Insecurity
    • Since I started drawing as a kid, I have an inferior complex about my drawing skills. In my childhood, I was surrounded by talented peers who can either copy very well or just have a good sense of aesthetic. Meanwhile, for the longest time I couldn't properly shade a box, can't draw still life, can't draw a proper pose. Even when I had produced decent looking art back in uni, the best part of my artworks were my composition and color skill gained from my graphic design major.
    • I still have that insecurity even now, but for the past few years I've been working to overcome it, but it is still very difficult to abandon the thoughts.
  • ▲ Skewed Impression of an acceptable level of sketch and study
    • Looking at many refined study sheets made me unable to be satisfy with my sketchier study, even though I did learn from such unrefined studies nevertheless
  • Both of the above are closely related to the concept of Comparing your individual self with the collective entity of people you admire

• This art by Van Gogh | Link | I don't like the most popular stuff by Van Gogh, but after finding this out, I discovered that many of his art are really close to my preferences!
• One Piece Egghead Arc "Us" by Hiroshi Kitadani | Link | Cool song, cool visual. I really like the color, the shape design and physics in this. The animators also worked on the MV for "Kaze no Yukue" by Uta/Ado, which I absolutely adore!
